Mountain Light Sangha is a welcoming and diverse community of spiritual aspirants offering seasonal retreats at Mountain Light Retreat in Crozet, Virginia—a charming gathering place nestled within the natural beauty and stillness of the Blue Ridge Mountains. (Other retreat locations may be offered in the future).

As an interfaith community, Mountain Light Sangha’s retreat themes vary in topic and tradition. Our retreats often include elements of the Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, and Yogic faith traditions. We welcome retreatants from all of the world’s great religious cultures—or none at all.

Mountain Light Sangha retreats are donation-based offerings, with a suggested donation of $100 per person to cover the costs of facilitating each retreat. No one will be turned away due to financial hardship. Lodging is $45 per night, and commuter participation is welcome. Teachers and retreat leaders are not financially compensated for their time or travel, donations to cover their expenses are encouraged and gratefully accepted.
